Yeah you're right. Calling someone childish is much more influential than just offering an opinion. .....
OK, so you think it made no difference that back in Thorpe's day, linemen were about 5'11" tall and weighed about 220? You think it was all equipment?
I guess in basketball you think Pistol Pete would be dominant?
Or that in baseball Big Hoss Radbourn happened to be 5'9", 168 lbs?
Oh yeah, and there was that monstrous heavyweight Jack Dempsey weighing in at 6'1" 187 lbs.
