Hi Jim. I found out last Thursday that a close family friend was dying. She passed on Monday. Then on Tuesday a great aunt who had been lingering on the verge for several months died as well. Things have not been particularly happy around the boo residence lately, and I guess I just haven't felt like doing much. I've been keeping myself busy by trying to invent the ultimate indicator -- forty hours of spread-sheet madness later, not much to report. Oh well.
Anyhow, I don't mean to dump on the thread, just to explain why I've been MIA. I think I'm ready to rejoin humanity now though.
So, the Iraq deadline is what, Monday? Gotta wonder if a lot of people are going to be unloading tomorrow. On the other hand, they may be loading up on the theory that so many people will expect a selloff that it'll produce a short squeeze instead. Or something.
