Merck (MRK) gains Approval for HiV Medication

Health care shares are higher in late-session trading while Merck & Co. (MRK) gets a key approval for one of its HIV medications.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved an expanded label for MRK's HIV treatment that is used in conjunction with other antiretroviral drugs in children.
