That worries me because I've found over the years that there is quite a good correlation between the degree of enthusiasm on a board and my investment losses.

I have noticed this as well, and used to share in the losses. In fact, going to the opposite side of the spectrum, some of my biggest wins have come via companies NOBODY was bullish on.

Most companies with cultists end up like DCTH, HDY, and DNDN. ACTC is another good one.
