No, Ry4n, Scottrade is $7.00 per trade plus a 1/2% on stocks under $4.00 per share. Buying $400 of stock will cost $9.00 (approx.)
I have used them for 4 years. CGFIA Is open for buys and sells on Scottrade. I have never had any problems with them.
To open an account, I believe you need $500, but you don't have to keep that much in there. Right now my balance is 2 cents!
, plus the stocks, of course. Bank transfers take 3 days, but checks deposited at an office are credited the same day.
