Contrary to your assertion, the analyst doesn't admit he lied, rather his firm said that the data couldn't be relied upon (for various reasons).

Bottom line, your accusation has no substance.

Is the analyst or his firm blameless? Not by a long shot, but "admitting he lied"?? B.S.
