Zam, in April/May I agreed with what you're saying now.

Anyone who checks my old posts on RB will see that I'd come to believe the insiders were shorting their own stock. I even posted public letters to the company demanding answers to my rather direct questions. CuriousGail and certainly Euroauto42 are well aware of this, but don't want anyone to know. They will hear a *knock knock* in the near future, IMO. However, my posts are still there for anyone who cares. I don't.

I changed my mind once I began hearing about the SEC investigation. The final doubt-killer for me was the PR from TLND on June 21.

NO WAY would insiders, illegally short-selling their own stock, release a PR like that. They publicly announced their involvement in the SEC hearing, and IN THE SAME BREATH mentioned "message board posters suspected of illegal naked short selling." Then they named the offshore locations, and claimed to be working with US authorities to round up the crooks.

If you're a crook, you would never dream of carrying out your illegal activities while waving a banner saying you were working with the SEC and US authorities. The fact that this same PR announced our revenues had been taken away clearly asserts that TLND has the blessing of the SEC in doing so. Between the lines, to be sure, but it's right there in your face.

And what about the outcome of the hearing? From what I understand this was over three months ago. Does anyone honestly believe the SEC, if it found evidence of wrongdoing, would wait SO LONG to release a final judgement when innocent investors are losing more money every day?

That sealed it for me. Other peeps will have to make up their own minds. I will remain patient and yes, my faith is in the company.

Good stocks are obvious. Extensive DD is how you convince yourself to buy a bad one.
