Month to month is fine. As long as they're are creating business for the dealers, I would think they will stick. I don't blame any dealership for not committing long term. I have month to month bills that I'll keep paying as long as the service is good. I'm sure the SMAA has lost and gained business in the past. The main thing is for them to keep attracting more business and to give good service in order to keep most of the existing business. They may have some long term contracts, but it isn't necessary. Month to month contracts(agreements)can work fine. They're doing something right to have 10 consecutive profitable quarters. I forgot what their goals are relative to market share, maybe 10%?
BTW, how large was your sampling and what percentage were doing business with SMAA? Just curious.
