ombow: I remember all the scare tactics in 1980 against Reagan. Despite his faults Reagan was a hell of a lot better than Carter. Fast forward to now. Gingrich has many faults. Despite that he would be infinitely better than Obama...for the economy, for National Security, entitlement reform, etc. If it comes down to Gingrich vs. Obama it will be a no brainer for me...I'd vote for Gingrich. He's not the guys I wanted to vote for but they decided not to run at this time. If Paul Ryan or Marco Rubio had decided to run I was prepared to quit my job and join the campaign as a full time volunteer. Maybe some election down the road. The disaster is already here, Gingrich would not do worse. For all his faults Gingrich is a brilliant mind, very intellectually curious. I'll make a prediction. If Gingrich wins the nomination he'll take at least 40 states in November.
