I spoke with Mr. Brennan on the matter about 3M and he said the company has used their machines for comparison readings while the MIT 1000 was in the stage of being certified. He knows all about the old technology and has used it. The new 3M Molecular Detection System is still old technology reduced in size with testing procedures shortened to some degree. Light scattering technology will compete with old technology in a very good way.
