After some very quick reading as well.....I am certain the 3m product in no way shape or form trumps nor even holds a candle to the mit1000a. Knowing that 3m is looking to enter this market makes me even more excited as to what we have. Not to mention cost per test is cheaper with the mit1000a. 3m can spend all the money they want on advertisng and lord knows they have the cash. But lets face it...it all comes down to the bucks and the mit1000a is cheaper. Not to mention the fact it is highly accurate. Also my sister is an RN and said that this system 3M has would have to be used in a lab lol. i have underlined the word lab in a cut copy and paste directly from the news release on 3m here is the copied and pasted clip in parentheses (taking up less counter space than a laptop computer, making it portable and adaptable to various lab environments.) The mit1000a is not restricted to a lab which speaks volumes alone. lol I am even more excited now. All in my humble opinion. Do your own dd on this and im sure you will come to the same conclusion. GO MMTC!
