OK, thought two...

As far as the Military, DARPA is not the beginning nor end of a possible deal. IMO, it (DARPA) can be compared to those "futuristic" concept car displays at the auto shows (they go far). The FTV can be produced TODAY and is not a concept that will or will not come to fruition. I have always expressed my confusion as to how this production ready technology fit with those concept DARPA vehicles. Yes, it has to be driven by a person, but so does the Hummer.
