BIG TIME NEWS OUT!!!

Pervasip Corp. (PVSP) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, VoX Communications, a leading provider of cloud based wholesale Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone services and smartphone applications, will launch Video Chat on its network through VoX Communications. Video Chat is expected to be offered on the VoX Mobile Android app, & VoX’s anticipated soon to be released iPhone and iPad apps. To complement iOS, since most other tablets run on Android, this compatibility will ensure that the different operating systems can coexist and fully operate with each other to offer extremely low bandwidth and HD resolution during a video call or chat. The Video Chat app will have a unique user interface that allows for “Group Video” calling, similar to group chats on today’s social networks.

G3 Connect plans to market the product to a wide array of consumers. The noticeable demand for communications through video has been doubling over the course of the year and analysts expect this trend to continue well into 2012 with higher expected numbers. By 2012 more than half of all phones purchased will be smartphones. By 2014 it’s expected that 70% of all consumer electronics will be wirelessly connected to the internet.

Video Chat is expected to be offered as an application downloaded from the Android Marketplace & the App Store. G3 Connect noted there has been certain marketing initiatives in place that are contributing to the rising sales of the VoX Android App. These initiatives will play out the same through all the other mobile devices. G3 Connect also expects to create a new brand specifically tailored to SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) accounts that can be used on other VoIP apps such as Fring & Nimbuzz. It’s estimated that those two alone account for 10 million downloads. Since VoX can be used as a service provider on other apps, G3 believes they can see substantial sales revenue. Only 10% or 1 million members would be needed to bring cash flows of about $5 million per month using VoX’s entry pricing plan. If consumers get the next plan up at $9.95, that would double revenue to $10 million per month and still be the least expensive VoIP plan on the market. G3 Connect is working on strategic goals to effectively market the new brand but did not mention what it will be called.

The recent partnership with Lightsquared, who plans to become the first national broadband network, would stimulate new levels of profits. If a smartphone has constant internet access nationwide, VoX members can use their inexpensive calling plans rather than subscribe to costly plans from Verizon & AT&T. VoX also offer true HD calling, something its competition is not up to par. As stated back in September VoX is culminating its strategy to add mobile functionality to its existing IP network platform by launching affordable new mobile services and applications, including voice and video, on LightSquared’s world-class network. VoX also plans to offer high-speed data and satellite services to its existing and new customers. The combination of wholesale economics and business model, open platform, 4G-LTE network and growing device ecosystem is the key reason why VoX chose to partner with LightSquared to deliver its innovative services.

“We’ve been closely following the rapid increase in mobile VoIP users, and determining how our company could take advantage of this new reality,” said Mark Richards, president and chief information officer of VoX. “We believe that the LightSquared network and business model are creating a transformative moment for the industry, and will allow us to expand our portfolio so we can deliver a broad range of affordable and innovative mobile services to our customers.”

This further compliments John Fanning’s investment in Pervasip who said to bring “disruptive technologies” to the cutting edge company.
