Keep in mind, this is an apparel company, not a tv production company. Vancouver is also famous for its fashion week for local hot talent looking for exposure. It's one of the biggest fashion events in the country, Dussault wasn't there.
They either didn't have any product to show, or could not afford the registration fee, since attending would have offered more exposure than the tv show. Jason has attended this event in the past when the company had a stronger cash position.
