Copper and cobalt are by-products of the nickel concentrate from Voisey's Bay. The plant is specifically designed to process the concentrate from Voisey. Specific copper processing methods can be added on, but it would be another project from what I understand. From what I've heard the copper ore would have to be shipped out and refined before it could even be handled at the plant, so what does it matter? If there's copper worth mining it'll be mined.
