SM--i appreciate the post on silverado. i first bought it at .22 last june-july and needless to say, there have been many opportunities to make money on it since then--it closed at .58 today. i got entirely out of it last week since i was transfering the ira i held it in from ameritrade, which allows the trading of otc-bb stocks, to interactive brokers, which does not. it would appear from your post that the several articles and posts promoting its fundamental potential, which, along with its impressive price advance sparked my enthusiasm, may have been hype. Still, no one unwilling to trade responsibly should be investing in obscure junior gold miners (or in zeev's picks, for that matter).
on a board which trades the 'Q', which zeev repeatedly reminds us is NOT a collection of fundamentally attractive stocks, and in a market climate in which goldminers, including several obscure junior miners, have outperformed most of the market for the past year, drawing attention to those juniors who appear particularly strong on the charts, still seems quite appropriate to me. trade the momentum! i remain grateful to whoever it was that first drew my attention to silverado back in the 20 cent area. it is interesting to me how agitated those who avoid penny stocks can become when those of us who don't, discuss them.
fwiw.
