Strikeforce Lives To Fight Another Day

The rumored demise of newest Zuffa addition, Strikeforce, is now officially debunked. UFC President, Dana White, today confirmed that the subsidiary promotion has reached a deal with Showtime to stay on the air, and that he will release more details next week.


"It's staying, and hopefully I'll have all the information for you next week," today said White, who said they could come as soon as Monday.

Since the restructuring of the Showtime execs, Dana White has entered into the panel of negotiations. He ensures that he will handle this deal with the interests of the fans in mind. They just have to trust him, and be patient.

"Just sit and wait and watch what I do," he said. "Trust me, it's going to be just fine. Like I said last time I talked to you guys about this, I'm getting into this, and I'm going to handle it. Watch and see."
