On December 7, 2011, at 1:52PM eastern Time, Calypso Wireless announced in a PR that it had finalized the settlement with Drago Daic that has been the subject of much consternation and tsuris for so many and which it is claimed ends Calypso's inability to profit from its U.S. patents by making deals with the myriad of infringers that owe the company tens of billions of dollars. Perhaps more.
On December 15, 2011, the company BOD intends to lead the vote to remove Dave Williams from the board.
In the intervening eight days we will see if the company actually releases an 8K -- with the signed agreement attached -- formalizing the settlement, and files it with the court. Equally import, if Daic releases his claim on the patent, for without that the settlement is void. If these do not occur, we will know that the board members seeking to oust Mr. Williams are simply professional liars and possibly criminals as well. If the settlement is indeed filed we will know that at least in this case the board members have been honest. I suggest your vote on the Williams matter should be cast accordingly.
