you have to remember 'available' doesn't mean 'watched'....and the reviews on LOGO and here! on this board are not favorable...

Feedback on LOGO from another board!!!!

I got the chance to watch LOGO and I must honestly say I was pretty impressed, not necessarily by the programming which incidentally is extremely professional but more by the mega advertisers that have commercials running on LOGO. Subaru, Miller (they seem to dominate every commercial break there was a Miller ad) e-trade, American Express, Adidas, Bacardi, the list can go on and on.Ive seen some of these same commercials on other stations but a few were made strictly for glbt audience and this was unmistakable.

You get the feeling while watching that it is just like any other station IE if you were to be channel flipping and just came across LOGO during a commercial break you would be none the wiser as to the programming content displayed after the break.

The programming in itself was very good i got a chance to see Round Trip Ticket (LOGO's equivalent to Q on the move), and part of the Evolution will be Televised a documentary on certain aspects and hardships of the GLBT lifestyle.

In Summation: LOGO will go far it didnt seem too watered down as I saw commercials for other shows they did seem pretty racy same gender affection was not compromised at all as evident in the commercial for First Comes Love, I have no basis to compare any of this to Q as I have never watched any of Q's programming but I believe the professionalism involved in shooting was of excellent quality, definitely up to VH1/MTV quality.

If Q doesnt make something happen soon we are dead fish in a dry fishbowl think about it if we breach contract on the Chicago Gay Games by not being available in 150 markets then there is no way LOGO/Viacom wont be able to pick this up in a blink of an eye.

I am slightly worried that our competition may actually be too much for the Q to be in the same arena with, LOGO lined up some heavy hitters and they are knocking s**t out the park right now Q better step their game up Quick.
