How does Berger intend to fund the company if he is seemingly putting business development plans ( ie asian partner) on the backburner. It is clear after listening to the last conference call and his tone in the previous ones that he is in no rush for giving up any rights to Ponatinib..either that or its just posturing. Another fairly large Ponatinib trial in 2012, continuation of AP'113, and other potential trials are going to cost money, a pretty fair amount of money. I hope his cockiness about Ponatinib are well deserved.

I can recall Berger also saying a month or so ago that he is not out there looking to raise money via a financing and to "quote him" on that (according to an analyst).

So, which is it. .....or does he have a money tree?

I suppose he could float 15 million shares right here and have well north of $200 million in the bank which would alleviate any fears (for a good while) of their cash - regardless, developing a GLOBAL salesforce is going to be expensive. Further, an additional 15 million in outstanding shares and now we are close to 150 million outstanding......begins to look like a real bloated pig. Personally, I'd rather not issue any more shares....but thats just me.
