You do know, eBay is an auction, so prices can be all over
the place. But dealers frequently offer a "Buy Now" price
for those who just can't wait or want only new, but you
can filter by brand, model, cheapest price, shipping charge,
other choices. I'm a trader, I like auctions, just like stocks
you have to know what an item is supposedly worth, the
fantasy number known as "list price." Then you hopefully
beat somebody up, they just had house repossessed, and
are selling their children for food. Well, not that bad but
you get the idea.
After losing several items I started bidding on more than
one at a time, a dangerous game if you don't set your
alerts and pay attention. I have to sleep sometime so I
won two bids on Toshiba Thrive 32GB wifi, list about
$499. One was used with $50 case and $100? worth of
purchased Apps, protective screen installed, but like new
with box for $385 plus shipping. The other was new in
box from dealer for $420 free shipping. If you Google
Toshiba Thrive Review or toshibadirect.com they give
price of $399.99 for 16GB.
Blackberry uses Android so it is the same language as
the Toshiba. I grew up with Apple so didn't have to
unlearn windows, etc. Samsung also makes a great
tablet, and a 7" Tab. Is priced between Apple and Toshiba.
Get all the memory you can, you never have enough -
unless you plan to send everything to the cloud, or back
up, or carry a pocket full of flash drives. Trust me on this.
