A recent article in the Arizona Star indicated that the CAES project using the W2 Energy engine system was supposed to have been tested and deployed by AzRISE by late summer, 2011.

Supposed to have been tested and deployed. But of course W2 is notorious when it comes to its lack of meeting deadlines. Not to mention previous report indicated that W2's product was not up to par according to the university. Nothing encouraging here.

The delays resulted from a number of factors including delays in the storage tank being delivered to AzRISE. But also, AzRISE and W2 Energy are building and inventing a new technology set, and the creation of new technology always takes longer than expected. W2 Energy has had to redesign the engine system several times in order to incorporate new ideas discovered during testing.

Has had to redesign the engine system several times? Why is that? Because all of their previous designs have been total crap? Shocker there.

"While W2 Energy and AzRISE have not met some of their targets for technology deployment and testing....

Understatment of the century. W2 can't even meet deadlines for their state mandated business entity status filings. Incompetency runs rampant in this company.

Conclusion: Just another fluff PR McLaren has tossed to the wire that will (as always) bear zero fruit. Snore....
