If you really want the shares you have to place the order @5000 lot size, and with that, they may only fill you with 500 or so shares. This will knock you off the bid and enable them to lower the bid. If you want a decent amount of shares place a order for 7000 at a price a little above the bid, maybe 2, 3 cents. They will have to bang through you to drop the bid , so you should get at least 2500 shares.
