I suspect the general gamble here is..to ride gold stocks who are producing ore, up to major new highs...then cash out in the sweet spot--before everything really begins to crumble.

Buying an island in a pre-apocalypic period...from those who still value paper currency...in essence this buys some time to properly stockpile.

Who knows...maybe the mayans are right..and it all ends next year..all of this would have been for nothing.

Personally, I think we have a good 4-5 years left with this outdated global financial musical chairs fiasco, then it finally falls victim from a violent and painful death.

If nothing happens, at least you would have a sweet vacation/retirement spot paid for to lounge. no?

As they say..the jig is up.
