One of things thats always gotten under my skin are the laws our elected officials have created for those who've been involved in white collar crime, how and where they spend their time for incarceration. Madoff gets a country club as many others. Skilling, Kozloski who are imprisoned with protection. Its as if their crimes ever how big, hundreds of millions, billions, regardless of the many lives they end up destroying, or businesses, get special treatment. Madoff is loving his retirement. On the other hand if your a doctor who has sold his license for one individual as wrong as it is, prosecutors want hard time. There's plenty of examples for how the law fails, not one individual who received money in the bailouts have been indicted...............In many respects crime does pay, if you're club member your rewarded with million dollar bonuses, and weekends at the most expensive high end resorts.
