Dubai, UAE, November 29th, 2011: International Expo Consults (IEC), a division of UAE's multi-faceted business conglomerate - Falak Holding, stated that it is aiming to propel the region's theme parks industry through its 'Dubai Entertainment Amusement and Leisure' show (DEAL) 2012 and thereby enabling them to capture the potential of this billion dollar industry. In the previous edition of the show over 200 firms from across 30 countries exhibited, while more than 4,000 visitors attended the show. According to a research by US based Global Industry Analysts Inc. (GIA) the worldwide market for theme parks is forecast to reach US$29.5 billion by the year 2015.

Mr. Abdul Rahman Falaknaz; Chairman of IEC stated that, "Contracts worth millions of dollars were signed at DEAL 2011 indicating renewed confidence in the region's leisure sector. Now in its 18th edition, DEAL is the only platform in the Middle East for exhibitors in these industries to connect with buyers, for buyers to see and test the latest products and services, and for professionals to share best practice and make new contacts." DEAL is the Middle East's annual focal point for all stakeholders in the amusement and related industries looking for a successful entry or greater growth in the region's markets. The event is scheduled to take place next year between April 17-19, at the Dubai World Trader Centre.

Mr. Prakash Vivekanand, Managing Director, Amusement Services International., one of the exhibitors at DEAL 2011 added that, "We had a fantastic exhibition. Not only did we sign millions of dollars worth of business but we also received lots of project enquiries that are to be completed within this year. This is the most important exhibition for us as we are distributors for most of the popular brands here in the Middle East."

DEAL 2011 welcomed some of the amusement industry's leaders, with regional and global names such as Amusement Services International (ASI), Falgas Industries, Rainbow Productions, Zamperla Middle East and Warehouse of Games. Brand names on display included SEGA, Triotech, Magnetic Cash, Simuline and Cogan among others industry majors. With last year's show generating a record number of exhibitors and visitors, and most of them pledging to return, DEAL 2012 is expected to witness an even larger gathering of key players and visitors in the amusement industry from the Middle East, African, Mediterranean, and Asian countries.
Mr. Nabil Kassim, General Manager, Warehouse of Games, another exhibitor stated that, "We had a lot of positive and genuine enquiries that we hope to close within the year. We are also taking on new brands and will take a much bigger space at DEAL 2012."

"For an exhibitor, this is the best opportunity of the year to showcase their quality equipments and services to thousands of potential buyers at a single venue. Visitors can attend dedicated seminars, see technology at its innovative best, network with industry peers, and develop profitable business relationships," concluded Mr.Falaknaz.
