I knew one Physco secretary who walked around with her medical files in hand for some lawsuit with her ex husband. Other than that, Nada.
I thought Medefile would make it easy and cost efficient to do it, however that has not panned out..They still could attach the name Medefile too something of size (AARP) and get the ball rolling from the current PPS I guess, but the complexity of EHR's and the lack of interest in "Medefiles" PHR it looks like they are having a hard time doing even that.You cant signup with Medefile not knowing what the EHR future holds. You cant if you have any cred.IMO Oh and absolutely no money to do anything and enough OS for almost everyone on the planet. Dont look for Kevin on the cover of a Wheatie box anytime soon.
