My take on why symbols may change when doing a R/S, from my experience and imho, is that a R/S has such a bad connotation, in general, that the company would rather not be known by the previous symbol. This particular change may have more strategy in it than that. Tony was frankly surprised to hear the discussion about it and he definitely didn't agree with the broker's statement. Maybe they found something out since then or maybe they are just giving it a good ole try. In any event, it can't hurt and I decided to add a bunch today instead of waiting for tomorrow, or later.
