Theres a lot more than just car batteries that use lithium. They will get a fix on this. Even if they dont, lithium is being used in more and more things as the years go by, drugs, batteries in all kinds of stuff. Yea car batteries whould be the "kicker" for lithium, so Im sure they will find a cure for this misshap, they already improved the length of times the batteries last, and they will improve on this too. Im glad they found out now and not after major production. I dont see this as a holdup IMO. By the time the cars are ready the batteries will be fixed.
