The only thing from reading this story that I can see they did wrong was waiting 5 stands to fillup. They could have left their trip tank open and just guaged it, but most roughnecks hate pulling pipe wet. What else did they do wrong? Sounded fairly professional to me. I've done it exactly the same as they did thousands of times.
