Probably.
But... I am more sure the FED could be replaced with a computer program that would have done far far better. It certainly could not possibly have done worse.

A computer program would not have been sucked into a Y2K nonsense scare for starters. It would have wratched up interest rates far before Greenboink. This FED is the worst in history IMO and we are going to pay for it big time.
