Prior to launching the sales and marketing campaign in 2006, did Spencer have a manufacturing agreement in place? What was his budget? Had he targeted his initial sales effort? Had he contacted any potential users or distributors? Or was his marketing and sales approach based on the "Field of Dreams" theory he learned in a 4th rate B-School? Millions of potential users who need the product. Not one sale. Hard to blame market BS for that. Hard to blame former employees. Hard to blame naked shorting. Hard to blame hurricanes. Not one sale. Help me understand why the CEO isn't responsible?
