Oh, I don't know. I wouldn't want a meddling type father figure always interfering in the day to day affairs of life. It's kind of like free speech. You can't allow it, but then keep coming up with exceptions. Likewise, you can't have free will, but then allow God to be influenced by man's constant pleading. Then, all random events would be suspect. If that were the case, you could blame or praise god for anything bad or good that ever happened.
Perhaps, there's a built-in means of manifestation? If we believe and "pray", we are activating some cosmic, karmic invisible fiber that overlays the entire thing. Perhaps we all have this god-like ability to influence our own lives? Maybe that's what the phrase "god helps those, that help themselves" is all about?
Maybe God just created an ideal physical environment, self-aware beings, capable of reproduction and repair, and pressed "PLAY" and is sitting back on a couch, eating popcorn and watching as his creation fumbles around asking "why?" all of he time?
Maybe every 6,000 years Nibaru wipes the stage clean(RESET), and it starts anew?
