Actually the public record, including AQLV's own PRs, indicate that in conducting their clinical study of NatuRx in ten Kenyans living with HIV/AIDS earlier this year, Mr. Hoffman and his colleague Emmanuel Mutisya not only blatantly ignored the normal regulations concerning the conduct of such studies, but also US, Kenyan and International law - not to mention the Nuremberg Code, which was introduced specifically to stop that kind of unethical experimentation on hapless subjects, and is adopted by all civilized nations (and a few others as well).

With that in mind, it should be no surprise that one of the consequences of the study in question was the unfortunate and likely lethal discontinuation of their life-saving anti-retrovirals by Mr. Hoffman's and Mr. Mutisya's unfortunate victims.

Given the opportunity to comment on this apparent conspiracy to commit, and perhaps the actual commission of, second degree murder or manslaughter, Mr. Hoffman appears to have chosen to plead the Fifth Amendment instead.

Which given that he claims to be here to answer questions is somewhat ironic.

In any event, I think we can safely assume the ten Kenyans needlessly consigned to an early grave are not enjoyng football and turkey today, and are unlikely to be around at all next year if they are still off their ARVs.
