Brent Schermerhorn vs. Kaleo Gambill set for ProElite 3

Two ProElite veterans with recent knockout wins will meet at the promotion's third event.
A source close to the event today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that Brent Schermerhorn (4-1) vs. Kaleo Gambill (1-0) has been added to ProElite 3.
As MMAjunkie.com earlier reported, ProElite 3 is expected to take place Jan. 21 at Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii, and its main card is expected to air on HDNet. A middleweight matchup between ProElite veteran Kendall Grove and Ikuhisa Minowa has already been booked for the event.
Schermerhorn, a product of Chris Leben's Ultimate Fight School, appeared on the preliminary card of ProElite 1 in August and knocked out Jesse Lundgren in less than two minutes. Three of his five pro wins come within the first round by way of stoppage due to strikes.
Gambill, a student of future UFC Hall of Famer B.J. Penn, hopes to build on his first pro victory, which also came at Pro Elite 1. It took him seven fewer seconds than Schermerhorn to earn a TKO over Eldon Sproat on the event's preliminary card.
