I invested in this company based on the market potential for such technology, the technical edge JBI had with the process/catalyst, and the apparent profitability of it all. IsleChem validation, DEC permits... for me these were like checkboxes that needed to be checked, but they didn't guarantee commercial success.

The deal with RockTenn was THE most important breakthrough event for this young company, IMO, certainly as far as commercial promise goes. That deal took an enormous bite out of the risk for investing in JBI, and it's far more exciting (and concrete) than any of the operational deals announced before (e.g. Sousa, Ohio, P2O Marine).

What's left is all about execution -- a lot of hard work, and many financial, regulatory, operational, and legal hurdles... but none of which is expected to be a showstopper.

Like you, had we not had real progress on any site other than the company-owned site by now, I'd likely be seriously re-evaluating my investment. But I was extremely pleased with the RKT partnership, and remain very optimistic for the future.
