As I do once a month I email my local comcast provider and request Q to be added to their lineup. I always and I mean always get the same programmed answer which goes something like this. "Thank you for your request for QTV. We do not offer this channel but will forward your request to our programming department." Then the usual crap about how requests have been instrumental in adding new channels to the lineup. That is a programmed response I have been getting once a month for more than a year and a half.

However, today I received a different response. I have never received this before. It is different and a bit more encouraging.

We appreciate that you have taken the time to send us your channel request. Although at this time we do not carry the Q Network in your town, I have forwarded your comments to the marketing group responsible for planning future channel changes. Channel requests such as this one are an important factor in our channel lineup decision-making process. We hope to be able to offer this channel in your area in the future.
