bbotcs...SCKT... After breaking down the cordless scanner growth numbers from the last few quarters (I do that on the Yahoo board--I don't do it here. I actually think you are the only person who reads anything I write on ihub.), I've changed my thinking a bit and believe it's going to be a battle over which division (cordless scanners vs Somo units) will grow faster in time.

I think 4th Q will be the last "transition" quarter. They should be able to squeak out a small profit. But they also will have no debt, they will have hired the new marketing people to boost sales and to have the inventory problems behind them completely (plus have gotten backlog down to a reasonable number). Starting in 1rst Q next year, I think they will be solidly profitable and continue to grow sequentially (revenue and net income) for a long time.

Right place at the right time with the right products. Ex. Here is a case study describing the use of electronic medical keeping in nursing homes that Dell & Optimus provide that use the Socket Somo unit as the handheld unit with the workstations.
