Why should developers do this?? Because they can give the app away for FREE (and get a LOT of downloads) because SCKT is the only scanner manufacturer that gives developers $5 for every new scanner that is purchased and registered on their app. Nice incentive to get developers to get app downloads and make their money on the backside.

Should bode very well to make SCKT "THE" choice for app developers when it comes to applications that use a barcode scanner.
