Watched the one hour trek across the amazon show with the 2 brits and one guide to start with.

I wonder if it was too negative to mention the botfly that buries its larvae in the head, and the redzone drug trafficking area and the eating of spider monkies along with the karate expert getting foot disease. Well maybe so but it sure looks like it may have happened this way.

Not sure how they could have avoided those realities, positive thinking only gets you so far. The bottom line is they made it even after the guide got sick on tainted water. The problem with positive thinking alone is that you may be unprepared for what is very common in errors along the way.
