The first thing you need to do is realize that the company that you invested in owes you nothing except part of the companies profits. And it's also up to them to decide how to give you those profits (dividends, share buy-backs, etc). The CEO does not owe you regular news, PRs, PCs or even time on the phone if you wanted to talk to him. You do not own part of the company, and the only right you have is to a pro-rated vote on whatever KBLB decides to take a vote on. That's it. Your only other right is to decide to not invest in KBLB and sell your shares.
The way you have been going at it for days, yes, I too consider it bitching - or, nagging, whining, complaining, etc. You made your point, but you don't have to make the same point 50 times.
You already got what you are asking for, and it didn't take a press conference! You got a PR last week that updated you on KBLB's progress and what they hope to accomplish! And did you read the part about how they said they got results from the 7 out of the 13 mating pairs (out of 50 mating pairs) that they have already analyzed. That means that they have only analyzed 13 out of the 50 mating pairs, which is only 25%! They're not even done analyzing the work that they have been doing for 6 months. So even though they don't have the full knowledge of what they have done so far, you expect them to hold a press conference just to tell the world that they aren't done analyzing their results, but they think that they have positive results so far? They already did that with a PR, so there's no reason for a press conference.
Your only other argument for a PC is because you think that there aren't enough people in the world that know about KBLB and their progress. That's not what press conferences are for, that's what stock promoters are for. And they seem to be using them (directly or indirectly) fairly frequently. You keep saying that you know for a FACT that a PC would directly affect the share price, and that seems to be your only reason for wanting a PC. First, you don't know anything for a fact, you have opinions. Second, a press conference might make the share price go up, but it will come right back down again when the hype wears off. Look at the last year. We saw .26 after the first PC, but here we are at 10 cents still. The share price is not going to keep a sustained price gain until the company announces revenues. A company that makes money is valued by its revenues. A company that has no revenues is only valued by speculation. Either way, no matter what you think, the market is and always will control the share price. The market is the buyers and sellers. If you have shares, but you're not selling them, you are not part of the market. If you have no shares, and you are not buying shares, you are not part of the market. And unless you are part of the market, you have no effect on what the share price is or will be.
If you don't even understand the relationship between SIAL, SGMO and KBLB, then you obviously don't read many of the posts on this board, and you obviously have done no other DD on your own outside of this board. Why don't you educate yourself fully before trying to start a lynch mob over what you think needs to happen with this company.
The share price is the true market value. The market value is what someone is willing to buy or sell it for. It always has a true market value. And why would you think that posting the same thing over and over and over on a message board is going to affect the stock price at all? If you want to make an effect on the SP, you need to either start buying or selling millions of shares, because that's your best option. If you want to do something, then start by actually doing something. Don't hop on a message board and try to start a coup so someone else will do something for you. Take action yourself. Call the CEO or IR, but don't expect someone else to do it for you. And please don't expect your internet rants on here to pressure the company to do something. CEOs don't usually run their companies based on message board revolts.
Then please, for everyone else's sake, can you sell all of your shares and go find something else to invest in. Your expectations are WAY too high! I don't think that you have the fortitude to invest in speculative penny stocks. If you do decide to stay invested in KBLB, you need to keep in mind that KBLB is doing science that has never been done before. It amazes me when people expect companies doing something that has never been done before to keep estimated time-tables. This is completely experimental science, not reproducing science that has already been proven. There is no way to know how long things will take, especially since there is no way to know what will or will not happen. Things don't go as planned, mistakes happen, hypothesis turn out to be wrong. If you want to invest in a bio-tech stock, you had better be willing to be invested for a long time, not just until you decide that things should be happening.
I believe that KBLB will someday be worth hundreds of millions, maybe even billions or dollars. The keyword is someday. That is why I am invested in it. I don't invest more than I can lose, and I don't invest with money I will need anytime soon - to do so would be foolish. If you believe that KBLB will someday be worth a lot more than it is now, you would be smart to invest with money that you do not need and can afford to lose. But you will be a much happier and calmer investor if you would stop looking at the day to day or even week to week and start looking at the quarter to quarter at the earliest. Don't get me wrong, I still read this board, related boards and do internet research on all kinds of related subjects daily, but I don't expect news from the company every day, week or even month. I don't expect this stock to "homerun" this year, and maybe not even in 2012. But I put a small amount of money into it with the hopes that in the next 3-5 years it will be worth a helluva lot more than it is now. When 3-5 years passes, if it's not, I will be disappointed for sure, but I won't be miserable over it every day until then.
