I never said that the world was falling off a cliff? I think you might have misunderstood me. I personally have no idea what the US markets will do in months from now, most people don't. If they say they do they're usually speculating.imo
Your right about many sectors/industries seeing an improvement in the data, however economic data is always changing, what looks better now may be worse after the next report is put out, and "vice versa" of course. Time will tell what direction the US markets will go in. At the moment things don't look too bad. I'm a buyer in these markets so i would be foolish if i believed the US was falling off a cliff.jmho
