I don't see how deferring their own salaries is necessarily an indication of them being "cash strapped". If they'd rather reinvest profits into ongoing/future projects within the company than pay themselves now, that makes perfect sense to me and I believe that's what they are doing.

I doubt either is particularly hurting for money.
