billybass, interesting post.

"it would be advantageous to NEOM to close the merger while the NEOM stock price is as high as possible"

Right on. And although I keep hearing that NEOM cannot "promote" the company/stock during this time period ... it would have been (and still would BE) very nice if NEOM had SOME good material news to release in concert with or shortly after the Virgin settlement news. That would have helped NEOM give up as few shares as possible, like you say.

On the other hand, if NEOM drifts lower it just makes me buy more, like back at .30 the other day. But since I assume NEOM is more interested in the ultimate details of the BSDS share "thing" than they are interested in my desire to purchase shares cheaper ... I must also assume there is just no material news to report.

They COULD report material news, right? That's not "promoting", that's "required".

Okay, that's my one NEOM post for the week I think ;)

p.s. I had to chuckle at your dream. Never discount dreams. Here's a good recent dream story. I throw a buck at one of Georgia's lotteries every now and then, it's a 5-number lottery. My sister knows I do this. She also knows I have a little program that lets me figure all possible combinations of various numbers, etc etc. Anyway about 2 months ago she dreamed 3 numbers, over and over the same night, as in these 3 numbers opened a combination safe. She'd close the door ... put the 3 numbers back in ... and it would open again. So she tells me this the next day and asks me if those 3 numbers might be useful in a lottery pick. I used the program and figured that if those were THREE of the five numbers that would be drawn, then all possible 5-number combinations incorporating those 3 numbers and the remaining 36 numbers (it's a 39 number lottery) would total 630. So for $630 and a little (well, a LOT) of playslip filling-in, one could take a shot at it, using her dreamed numbers.

Needless to say, even knowing my sis is a bit psychic, I didn't take the time to do that. Guess what? If I had, I would have won $639,000 that night, as her 3 dreamed numbers came up and for $630 I could have played every possible 5-number combination using those 3 numbers.

So now I don't know what to do ... play dreamed "hunches" ... or just listen to my sister more closely. :)
