It may be simple to you, but not to a lot of people here. Right has been taught to me all my life, this is not in any way justified as right in any fashion of the American way! It is total disregard or respect of the investors and their dollars put into the brokers hands to get proper share acknowlagement!! By the way, I too was told that my shares were all real in my CASH account with SCOTTRADE , as I personally asked about this. MAYBE, JUST MAYBE MY DOLLARS WEREN'T REAL TO SCOTTRADE!! ORRR???????
