In the beginning the greeks made the figures look much better than they were to join the EU.so They could get lots of EU subsidies. So they felt happy, but over the years the german industrie bought lots of valuable assets allover the Eu. They have not left much in their own hands. They depend on Germany in lots of ways.
Great for us, the economie is booming but if that is good in the end I doubt.
