Does anyone feel that possibly, MS and LW are worried about their jobs, i.e., getting pushed out and replaced, and that they are concerned enough to want to try and get share options prior to that happening?

That could be another reason for their desire to land all of these options. There IS a reason they want them and yours could be a possibility.
