the thoughts of a writer of le Carre's stature should not be marginalized by removal to the sister thread.
I think you have the issues completely miscast. The only people being marginalized are those members of this thread who trade for a living, (or at least try to), and who constantly have to wade through piles of crud which are obviously posted with no other intent than to offend other posters and to diminish the value of this thread.
