Claude Cormier....

The core shorts are all non-tech stocks that I believe are seriously overvalued for fundamental reasons and most are stocks that I think have some chance at having to undergo bankruptcy to restructure. At the moment they consist of (in no order of preference):

GM
MBI
TYC
ACF - Only 2 positions left after the last drop, waiting for zero.
COF
FNM
JPM
C

(I am getting tired of the waiting game on JPM and C, and may move to more fertile positions. The Fed very much has a vested interest in supporting those two. If so, I would probably replace them with AMZN

I have recently added some techs stocks as swing trades, similar to the core group. If I did not trade them, they would definitely be in the core shorts.

KLIC - part of the position has been covered.
KLAC
NVLS
CYMI
CDWC
TER - over half of the position has been covered.
CCMP
XLNX

(CCMP is a tough stock to borrow, which is why the last time I was able to get some, I placed it with the swing trade group. There is also the chance that they could ask for the shares back and I would have to close the position regardless of where it is.)

I believe that most chip and chip equipment stocks stand to be taken down 50% or more over the next 6-9 months so establishing a core short position is pretty easy at the moment.

All of the above are just my personal opinions, worth every penny of what I charge for the list.

Good luck to you.
