Nices posts! Here's a stock that I'm watching that has me baffled: CTTY.... It supposedly had about 800,000 shares issued and outstanding as of around May of this year (it was trading around $4/sh then). Recently, like today, it was up around 40% (from around $12/sh to $15.40/sh on around 6 million shares traded...as I recall. WHERE THE HELL ARE ALL OF THESE SHARES COMING FROM!!!!! I think insiders actually own some shares too. This apears to be very f'd-up IMO!
I'll continue to watch this co.,...hopefully, I can catch it on an upswing some day.
ps. Yeah, hedge funds have lots of cash...and the folks who short stocks tend to be very savvy and have lots of cash too. They love to screw the long-term shareholders.
Many things are wrong with our stock market system. Some drastic/radical and appropriate changes are needed IMO.
